Desire...

What a passionate and intense word. "Desire" is a word, especially in the last 24 hour period, that has utterly and totally perplexed my mind.

It's there within us. It in its purest form is a good necessary thing... I think... I'm almost 98% sure... But so easily does it get skewed and disfigured. Why and how does that happen? Why, us as humans, have this thing/anomoly/feeling/need in us? And moreover, why are we ruled by it; How do we learn to be disciplined enough to walk the line in between the two sides of natural need and carnal greed?

Trust in the LORD and do good;
Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness.
Delight yourself in the LORD;
And He will give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to the LORD,
Trust also in Him, and He will do it.
Psalm 37:3-5

I'm learning that's where Satan steals it all...
