Four Yokos and Two Johns...
Philadelphia and the idea of it being "the city of brotherly love" is a crock. I hear so many sirens and view so much perverse language, that would make Colin Farrell turn a ear in disgust. That really was a dumb statement.
I just saw the movie Cars. Johnnie M was on the soundtrack and song that included the delightful town of Amarillo, Texas. It was pretty dope. And by the way, the movie is quite enjoyable. Truthfully, it may make my top ten. But only to get every category credited in the top ten.
Now to the situation at hand. I live with four very different girls. I mean it's like taking one girl from each echelon of the high school hierarchy and putting them in a house with Remoy Philip. Luckily I have the coolest kat, Marcus Armstrong, along side with me. If I didn't, this would definatetly suck giant ... well you know. I'm not going to lie (that's an Apodoca allusion), but I'm losing my mind. Guys are so much cooler than girls. But girls got that whole, "I'm sexy," thing going on. It gets me everytime.
I did get to see the beautiful event of a couple taking the next step in their relationship. I saw them wandering around the "rocky steps." Finally, I saw him get on his knee. In that moment, you may not know the people, but you feel linked to the couple through the idea of love. Because no matter how far you run, or how many bookcases you hide in, love is still right there. And yes it is part of our existence.
Time to go dodge some bullets, and change this processing world...
Be Relentless,
Remoy
